Throughout this pregnancy, I have become more involved in my local ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network) chapter as I work toward my goal of a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean).
Last weekend, we held our annual Cesarean Awareness Month rally outside of Northside Hospital (where Eli was born). Here is me with my rally poster:
And just yesterday, this documentary, "Birthrights: The Risk of Choice" was aired for the first time. It features ICAN of Atlanta, a few of the active members, and the 2 most supportive doctors I know! You can also see glimpses of one of my doulas, Christine, sitting next to the meeting leader during the discussion part of the video.
